Outdoor summer training sessions

IMG_4782.JPGIt’s exam season at our usual sports hall at St. James school in Exeter. If allowed access, dodging and weaving between neatly set out tables would’ve been great for footwork.

So for the past few weeks we have been making the most of the great weather to train on the local park’s cycle track facility. There are loads of great markings on the tarmac that drills can be created around. Full use was made of the multicoloured snake pictures as a track portion, it’s irregular shape made it hard to block jammers!

It’s been worthwhile as some of us are taking part in the annual Eastbourne Extreme event next month which is hosted outdoors – Derby on a grippy surface certainly has it’s thrills and spills.

We are back to our regular adult  indoor sessions on Wednesday 27th June 7pm – 8pm.
